Rabbi Steve Karro has dedicated his life to preserving tradition, sharing knowledge, and creating meaningful connections through faith, art, and education. Born in Russia and later raised in Jerusalem, he immersed himself in Jewish studies from a young age. As a Hebrew calligrapher, Judaica artist, and educator, Rabbi Karro specializes in sacred writing, including Torah scrolls, mezuzot, and tefillin. His work also includes the careful restoration of historic religious texts, helping preserve traditions and sacred works that have connected generations for centuries. Beyond his work as a scribe, Rabbi Karro is passionate about art, education, and sharing his knowledge with others. Through teaching, travel, and creative projects, he seeks to encourage lifelong learning while fostering a greater appreciation for Jewish tradition, history, culture, and the arts.

Throughout his life, challenges have strengthened Rabbi Karro’s faith and reinforced his belief in the importance of kindness, compassion, and service. He believes that even small actions can have a meaningful and lasting impact.

Whether preserving a sacred text, creating a piece of art, teaching a student, or connecting with a community, Rabbi Steve Karro strives to approach his work and relationships with integrity and purpose. His goal is simple: to leave every person, project, and community better than he found it while helping preserve knowledge and tradition for generations to come.
